K2Rides is a ride-hailing platform operated by Limawa Tech Limited, connecting customers in Sokoto with independent Keke, Kabu Kabu (bike), and car drivers for transportation, airport transfers, and rental services.
To provide the service, we collect:
• Your name and phone number, used to identify your account and let drivers and admin contact you about a trip.
• Location data (your pickup and destination points, and — for drivers — live position while on a trip) to match you with a nearby driver, calculate fares, and show live trip tracking.
• Photos you choose to upload — a driver's profile photo, or photos of a car listed for rental — shown to other users of the app so they can recognize a driver or see what they're renting.
• A device notification token, used only to send you alerts about your own rides (e.g. "Driver found!" or, for drivers, "New ride request!"). We never use this to send marketing messages.
• Payment details needed to process a transaction (processed directly by our payment partner, Monnify — we never see or store your card or bank account numbers ourselves).
We use the information above solely to operate the ride-hailing, airport transfer, and car rental service — matching you with a driver or vendor, calculating and collecting fares, showing live trip progress, and sending you status updates about your own bookings. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
While using the app, we access your device location to show your pickup point and, during an active trip, to share a driver's live position with the customer. Location access can be managed anytime in your phone's settings.
Drivers on K2Rides are independent operators, not employees of Limawa Tech Limited. All drivers are reviewed and approved by our team before they can accept rides.
We retain account and trip information for as long as your account is active, and as needed to resolve disputes, provide support, or comply with legal obligations. You can request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us using the details below.
K2Rides is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
We may update this policy from time to time as the service grows. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated policy.
